The
" Prince Henry" was built in 1994 according
to a template from the XVIII century. This traditional boat
transported the Armagnac brandy and the famous flour from
the hills of Gascogne. The boat is inspected by the cabinet
"Veritas" and authorized by the commission “Surveillance
des bateaux de Toulouse”.
The Baïse has been navigated
since the XIII century. Canalized by Haussman in 1850, it
reached its peak at the end of the XIX century. With the arrival
of the railroad it fell into the abyss. Since 1987 cruises
on the river have given new birth to this beautiful part of
the Garonne for more than 65 km. |
